This week the Hoover City Zoning Committee approved a request to change the zoning for several parcels of land as part of the new development along Stadium Trace Parkway. Jonathan Belcher, with Signature Homes presented the plans and drawings to a packed council chambers. The zoning changes will allow for a mixed use, Town Center and townhomes at the base of Chestnut Ridge. Lots of exciting things to come with the development of the Lake Wilborn and Blackridge communities and the new Town Center.
The Lake Wilborn and Blackridge communities will include 513 acres of parks along the Cahaba River, Lake Wilborn and throughout the neighborhoods. Signature Homes and US Steel have committed to preserving ample green space for the enjoyment of all.
